My Humiliating Slap To My Greatest Enemy

By Carl On January 21, 2009 6 Comments

Just after new year, you may have recalled the 4 posts/7 days challenge. Basically, the challenge is for me to post 4 articles in 7 days – with a little twist, you “help” out by encouraging me. The best encouragements win a copy of Ultimate Blogging Theme

It was hard.

I’ve lost momentum so it was hard to deal with the challenge, to deal with my greatest enemy…

Me.

And I couldn’t have done it without you. So here are the winners of the mini contest we had last last week.

Congratulations And Thanks

AJ Kumar – I got to know AJ because of that wonderful comment he left that day.
John Rodica – Touching.

Make Money With Netklix On Your Website

By Charles Lau On January 19, 2009 3 Comments

This article is sponsored by Netklix and posted by Charles Lau.

With an increasing number of websites published live every day, every referral from external sites clicking into your site really counts in your return-on-investment (ROI) as your website starts to take the role of converting them into buyers.

There are different models online to provide the linkage between websites, and Pay Per Click advertising networks are one of them.  Pay per click advertisement is one of the most effective advertising methods because it has everything to do with the visitors’ non-monetary call-to-action.  It gives better exposure to the advertisers as the publishers get instant gratification for every click made.

For better understanding of thie review, website owners who buy advertisement space on external sites are known as “advertisers”.  Website owners who

Breaking Through Your Blogging Barrier

By AJKumar On January 18, 2009 1 Comment

This article is by my friend AJ Kumar who blogs at Persuasive.net. AJ spent more than half a decade learning about Human Psychology, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis, and Sales and today he’s here to share an inspirational story…

Chuck Yeager was the first man to ever break through the sound barrier. During the record breaking fight, the crew however was trying to convince Chuck to stop and try again another day because it wasn’t happening. Chuck knew that he was too close to doing it, so he couldn’t imagine quitting at this point. Chuck disregarded the numerous messages, shut off his radio, and at the time, took that plane where no man has ever taken it before, mach 1 (breaking the sound barrier).

The Simple Email I Used To Get My Guest Post Accepted On Popular Blogs

By Carl On January 16, 2009 7 Comments

Yesterday, I revealed my step by step plan to “guarantee” your guest post accepted. One of the most curcial steps there is when you contact the blogger…

“What am I going to write in the email?”

“How should I approach them for a guest post?”

“How do I make them read my email?”

These are just some of the most common questions of bloggers when contacting someone – heck, even by non-bloggers. So what I’ll be doing now is I’ll let you swipe the email template I use when submitting a guest post…

What You Should Know About Popular Bloggers To Get Your Guest Post Accepted

By Carl On January 15, 2009 4 Comments

I was supposed to post this article yesterday but my rhinitis keeps bothering me so I just head on straight to bed after working on my layout for my mentor, Joel Christopher’s “How To Make Money Online Seminar” where I’ll be guest speaking on February 14.

So right when you’ve found the popular blogs in your niche to guest post to, the next thing you should know is how to get your guest post accepted.

It can get really tricky when you don’t have a close relationship with the blogger – but I’ve heard of that.

On my part, what I did was to make a step by step plan to “guarantee” my article will get posted on their blog somehow…

Credentials?

I don’t do guest posts that much but I have submitted

How To Build A Social Network And Grow Your Blog

By rricart On January 12, 2009 4 Comments

What kind of business model can I start off with to build something people want to frequent on more than one occasion while offering me the benefit of achieving my goal even if I’m not an expert to pump a niche specific blog with content. After much thought It was only a matter of time before a light bulb went off in my head – “why don’t I start a niche specific social network and use content provided by the users for my niche specific blog?” and I did…...
