Turn The Tables On Me

By Carl On June 25, 2009 16 Comments

If you're new here, you really should subscribe to my blog's Full RSS feed for FREE! You don't want to miss informative posts! Thanks!

I’m feeling of doing something “radical” today…

I’m gonna open up the comment section and let you “critique” me.

But to add a little twist, the person who makes the best critique wins a copy of my Ultimate Blogging Theme ($97) and my soon to be released Google optimization book, Feed Kid Google ($47).

I’ve got to tell you, you’ve got tons of stuff to critique about me…

  • My writing – I easily switch plural and singular stuff
  • The design – The UBT is tested, but not perfect. Testing just keeps going on and on.
  • Your first impression – This one I can’t test all the time. I’ve already asked almost all of my friends about it and I’m still tweaking the blog up to now so I’ll appreciate your comment about the first impression.
  • How I portray myself – If they say Carl Ocab, what pops out of your mind? What do you think are my qualities?
  • Tons more, those are just the stuff that came to my mind first.

I’m not really like the “master” of blogging or something, heck I’m not even close to that so I’ll really appreciate your comments.

P.S. Winners will be hand picked :-)

How Long Have You Been Trying to Make Money?

Reader Questions

Our last poll about posting frequency ran pretty well and much what I expected it would be, and since there’s no active poll for today, I’m gonna ask another question about the most common reason why most people hardly make money online.

If you ask “the gurus” how long they have been trying to make money and how long it took them to finally crack the money making code, you’ll find out how much determination a person needs to make some good bucks out of the net.

So the question is…

Note to the word trying, it’s not the time that you’ve been making money, it’s the time that you’ve tried until you made a substantial amount.

Anyway, do you have any predictions on who will be the winner? Guess what will win in the poll and to those who’ve answered it correctly, I’ll draw a lucky winner and link him up in the next poll results.

Poll results will be next month, so watch out the ultimate post on how I made BIG bucks from my blog starting from $0. Don’t ever miss it, subscribe to Full feed rss for some alerts!

What I Learned from our School Retreat about Posting Frequency and Scheduled posts

By Carl On July 24, 2007 Comments Off

Last week, we had our school retreat. I really had fun talking with my friends and enjoying the freewill. LOL, though our teacher and the priests gave us free time in the afternoon and in the evening, they were pretty darn strict about sessions, Scheduled sessions. I mean, wow! They won’t even pass a minute just to follow the schedule.

So, after our sessions, our teacher would give us free time to fix things and relax. But I kept thinking about my blog and what will happen to it. Honestly, funny things run in my mind that time because I won’t be able to check many things… (So that’s the life without internet!)

Anyway, it’s pretty funny why I made a post in our school retreat.

Posting frequency, what is the best for you? I can’t decide by myself if it’s either 1 post per day or 3 or 2 or 4. So I need your opinion, how much posts should a blog generate per day?

Here’s a poll:

How many articles should a blog post per day?

After a week or two, I’ll follow up this post with explanations and results.

What are your Best WordPress Plugins?

By Carl On May 7, 2007 1 Comment

We all have our best WordPress plugins and we all have different favorites. Of course, to supply our needs. Like for example, you want to embed a php code in your post or add a Digg this button.

After this post, I will be posting a list of top WordPress plugins built by you. Yes, you. So I’m asking you now, what are your best WordPress plugins?
