Geesh, it looks like I’ve been bitch slapped by the ol’ Dane Morgan by beating me up in the 4th International Blog Cup – even if I have whipped up my own contest.
It was an awesome experience though, I felt a little bit of excitement and joy when I led a few votes but that’s it, Dane Morgan still prevailed.
The funny thing was, John Chow, SEOmoz and the infamous I Love Typography blog that I expected to win this competition were ALL knocked out.

Wow – what a close race though! The fact that you and Dane both had almost twice the number of votes than any other blog is a testament to you both. It would have been a good matchup for the final round!

Hey Carl, good fight man. I think if you had run your contest longer you might have nailed me. I had mine running a couple days before you did, and I think that’s what put me over the top.
So, what’s it take to get you to throw the Carl Orcab reader machine into supporting Dane Morgan for the rest of this Cup? ;)

Man, you really gave Dane a run for his money. I was very impressed by your performance in the cup – kudos :)
Have you thought about maybe getting behind Dane and helping him win the whole thing? I think he could do it with a little support.
The interesting part of competitions like this is that I never really would have found your blog had you and Dane not been paired against each other. Now that I am here – I love it.
