This question is for Carl or anyone else that can help-

I've just installed the Ultimate blogging theme. I'm having issues getting the avatars to show up on comments. How do I get them to show up?

Also, I'd like to allow readers to be able to reply to individual comments. What plug-in are people using to have link like in Carl's blog that says "Reply to this comment."

Thanks for your time and help!

Just starting to get the hang of this blogging and making money from it so I am reading every resource available and posting my findings on my own blog as I progress. I will have a go at posting my article on my blog to other places like Ezine. thanks.

"Then you will submit each post you just put on your blog to all the top article directories. "

I just got lost here,.
Submit our blog post to article directories??

correct me if I am wrong here, but.. wouldn't we'd be dealing with duplicate contents if we do that?
and we all know it is against google policy to have duplicate contents. :)

Hello,

Alan I agree with you to a point. However on MLM Review Kings we didn't do any keyword research at all, and the site averages 850 uniques a day and provides us with quite a few consistent income streams. The site will probably earn 25k next year plus a lot of undisclosed income in the primary MLM Program we're promoting plus free travel and speaking perks. We just simply reviewed companies and let the rankings fall as they may.

But our ebay store niche sites are built a lot different with phpbay pro and strict keyword research. We use Market Samurai to research all our section pages, and use article bio anchor text to get links to these. Our first one is making about $40.00/mo, but the first month it made nothing. Seemed to take 25 days for google do start letting it get traffic.

I also agree that none of this is simple. It took hundreds of hours to build MLM Review Kings and it doesn't make anywhere near the income people brag about on their Google Adwords courses. But it is very consistent, hassle free income and the long-term payout will be very impressive.

And Teen Blogger I couldn't agree with you more. These sites are work. Somedays I'll be 10 hours non stop hacking away doing some form of blog building or article submissions, video submissions or whatever. Anyone that tells you that these sites aren't hard work will end up steering you down a dark road you don't wanna go.

If writing articles poop you out then there's no harm in outsourcing them to get going. We outsource all our articles for our niche sites since I can't stand writing on stuff I know nothing about. But I usually write our MLM articles, however I have been known to oursource some of those too.

And JB as you get more and more traffic to your blogs, you'll get paid in various ways such as advertising revenue, affiliate programs, stuff you sell in your follow-up messages. The trick is to make a little income from a lot of different places. Greed Kills. I've learned that the hard way quite a few times.

Nice post.

Earning residual income sounds easy, but actaually involves hard work. The higher you rank for your keywords the more money you will be making. Keep that in mind.

Good post. But it's not quite that simple. A person needs to also understand how to conduct the proper keyword research to find the best keywords to profit from. It isn't as simple as checking to see how many AdSense ads pop up. A lot of competition means more hard work to get to the top of the search rankings. While I agree that a lot of courses over complicate things, I think this blog post over simplifies.
