My Best Blog Tip EVER Series – Yaro Starak

The last “best blog tip” by my friend Nate Whitehill was a big hit. I’m sure tons of people like it, in fact I love it!
For today, our special guest is a BIG daddy in the blogosphere who blogged for more than 2 years, a young entrepreneur and a friendly guy. Warmly welcome the second dude to give his best blog tip ever… Yaro Starak of Entrepreneur’s Journey!
His Best Blog Tip EVER:
My best blog tip ever is to have faith and be motivated by your end goal, but realize in order to get there you have to take a step each day.
Most bloggers fail before they reach success for no other reason than giving up too early. There is no more powerful blog-killing force than the blogger themselves giving up due to boredom, despair or lack of results early on.
Ask bloggers who make it big and they will tell you that they had to push through all the same feelings and just keep working.
Work consistently and persistently at a few key things and you will be rewarded – that’s not a maybe, that is a guarantee!
If you post articles and do a little marketing each day you will get there, but you have to be wary of your own emotions as they will do all kinds of things to convince you to give up.
Make The Next Episodes Better, Suggestion Box Is Open!
Ok, I’m just one kid so I guess my ideas aren’t enough for this series, but I have this “itchy” feeling inside that we can make this series better, more fun and more exiting. Now I’m asking for your help, drop your suggestions below thru a comment and I’ll have a look. I’ll joyfully (what a word!) appreciate it

Carl Ocab is one of the most successful teenage bloggers on the net. But remarkably, Carl was just 13 years old when he rose to fame with his hugely popular “make money online” website: www.carlocab.com

Hi, my name is Carl Ocab or as many call me, the “Kidblogger”. I’m a 16-year old kid from the beautiful archipelago Philippines.

My single biggest blogging tip is very simple:
Don’t waste time on a free blogspot domain. The best way to learn is to dive right in there. If you think you want to learn on a freebie blogspot domain and then once you are ‘good enough’ move across to your own domain and Wordpress, think again because the learning curve is continuous. It never ends. If you are unsure about if you want to spend a fairly small amount of money on hosting and a domain name, get used to making those sorts of decisions, because blogging is exiting!

Hah! I bet many people got caught there! But yeah, that’s so true. Spending $9 bucks on a .com domain and $5 on hosting doesn’t hurt that much than being nailed in a blogspot doamin that may lower your blog’s value.
Thanks for the tip matt :)

Awesome tip Yaro. If someone told me that I would be making a cool amount of money per month from blogging and building relationships with so many like-minded individuals and budding entrepreneurs, I would have blogged more consistently in my early days.
In a world where you can get pretty much everything instantly, people want to see quick and fast results. The fact of the matter is, blogging and most other businesses and ventures require hard work in order to succeed. Put in the hard work now and you’ll reap the rewards quickly.

I think that one of the best tips for blogging is take risks.
Many people don’t take risks because they are afraid of failure. Yet by taking risks we further increase the chance of recieving more opportunities. And more opportunities means more avenues for success.
So next time you are unsure on what to write about or how to market your blog, be sure to consider something risky.

Hey Carl,
I think the “best blog tip” series is pretty good myself.
But if you want to make it “more fun and more exiting” you could always try going with the negative spin. Instead of best blog tip maybe ask people for their biggest blog mistakes.
It’s still a learning tool (learn from others’ mistakes), but sometimes the negative stirs up a little more controversy. :)
Just a thought!
Keep up the great blog,
~Annie
