My First Plagiarism Issue, Not Bad at All!

By Carl On May 1, 2007 Under Personal/Site Ramblings

What will you feel when your “made from scratch? article that took you hours to type and hours to edit will just be posted by someone else without your permission/knowledge in their own blog in just a minute?

I have been surfing the net this late night and thinking to check my site’s stats on copyscape for plagiarism reasons. After seeing this guy posting my content, I didn’t panic (cause I know “the truth will prevail!? sounds like a nice tagline!) I just reported it to my dad to let him see it  But what surprised me the most is that he copied it word by word! Didn’t even passed a letter!

Wait! I’ll share you this pic first!

It's bad!

Of course, what I did was, leave a comment on the post and told him to remove the post. I’m protected by CopyScape (Thanks to copyscape, I’m a-ok!) Anyway, It’s in the law that all published work can’t be copied whether it has a copyright notice or not. It is automatically protected.

I hope he learns on this lesson, Nevertheless, look on the bright side, be optimist. Copycats love what they copy!
