Seaside Rendez-Vous is great, on the "A Night at the Opera", the most sold Queen album. It features Bohemian Rhapsody which for me is one of the best rock song ever made.

I just love Queen and some more rock bands, more old than new ones, even if there is some good stuff out there.

As for new and old comparison, this is just state of mind. Yeah some people like new things but lots also like older stuff because it's simpler to use and still does the job. Not everyone are born with technology and can use a computer as well as we do.

Another example : Cars. They are full of electronics nowadays, sure there are useful functions but when something fails, better have a serious wallet. The cars main purpose is to go from a place to another, a Citroen 2CV from the 60's have no technology, and even if you don't know anything about car, you can make all the repairs yourself.

Of course we have to find a balance, because sometimes, the new things are simpler. We also have to know about the target.

Carl, you may have listened to a Queen 70's song, but you were doing it with your iPhone. Did you say to your friend "hey I have an iPhone, it handles music from any period."

Imagine you're still using the Nokia 3210 while other people can take a picture, hear music, watching television and share multimedia from their phone...it's ridiculous...If you are not follow the trend, you'll miss a lot of fun thing in life...

Well yeah, people always like new things. If I could afford it, I would end up buying a new car maybe every 1-2 years. :)

Remember "New Coke"? Everyone hated it, so they went back to the old formula, rebranded as Coke Classic, and stopped selling New Coke.

I don't know about the Philippines but over here in Malaysia, although Pepsi had launched a lot of new drinks like Pepsi Twist, the original Pepsi is still the best.

New things might get some buzz when it is new. When something is good, no matter it is new or old, it will be good. This is what the word "evergreen" comes in.

Queen’s Seaside Rendezvous is what I enjoyed and I can say that it is an evergreen song. Play My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion (old) and Beautiful Girl by Sean Kingston or Because of You by Ne-Yo (new) to the public, which song will be hummed by most?
