Auction Ads, an ebay affiliate middleman have announced that they’re giving away $25 to those new publishers INSTANTLY for FREE. Wow, now that’s an offer that anyone can’t resist.
And before that, they also bumped the affiliate commissions from 2% to 5%. Meaning, if you’ve referred someone and that someone earns, you get 5% of that.
That’s Mediawhiz being sooo desperate for new publishers! Great marketing tactic eh? They did that to text link ads too, giving free $100 worth of free links.
How about the old publishers

Not really… they have increased their payout to $50 so you have to make another $25 to get paid.
Everyone’s been blogging about this over the last few days, but I just don’t see how it’s that big of a deal. I guess everyone just wants to get more referrals ;-)
You can only make money from referrals only if people you referred managed to sell auctioned goods through Auction Ads.
