Terry Dean Is Now Being Held For A Review Here!
This post is sponsored by Terry Dean and posted by Charles Lau.
At first, I was wondering who Terry Dean is in my queue of review list to work on. Then when I google him more, I realize that I am now reviewing a very well-known Internet marketer! I started to explore his other sites mentioned in his blog. I subscribed to be in his email list. And I realize he has a lot of valuable lessons for us to learn about. I am very privileged today to review Terry Dean’s blog as I took my time to dig him out for his knowledge as much as I can here.
Let’s have a look at the video review
It is rare to review someone who is now owning a million dollar Internet business. In fact, I think this is the first time I am reviewing someone who practically based his career on the Internet as an mentor for everyone of us here who are working to make money online.
No Blog Pages
While most of us are having some common blog pages such as “About Me”, “Contact Me”, “Advertise” and “Archives”, Terry’s blog is pretty clean and straightforward to the point about what we as readers want. Instead of using his menu to link to blog pages, it is also a good idea from Terry to link some of his other domains as part of his menu choices on top. Since blog has a well-known habit of traffic suction from search engines, it makes sense to divert this traffic to his external domains as his prospective visitors.
Internal Pop-Up For New Visitors
Many Internet marketers love to put internal pop-up windows to capture the email list from the new prospective visitors. Though it may not appeal to many people as they are often remarked as “annoying”, they remain as an effective marketing strategy for capturing emails. Furthermore, internal pop-up is not as annoying as external since it doesn’t affect the usual window system that we are using in our computers. It only affects on the very webpage that the webmaster wanted you to see before you do anything else. Though I have not seen many bloggers do that, it makes sense to have an internal pop-up window especially when you have a very niched topic to blog about.
Natural Blogging Style from Terry Dean
I have seen many different types of blogging style from the various Internet experts. Some of them are very serious in their blog where you see every post is carefully structured as an article, where you hear no-nonsense from them. But over at Terry Dean’s blog, I do see some other random thoughts other than online marketing. He even discussed about Christianity in his blog which is seldom seen in most Make-Money-Online blogs out there. He is really blogging about his thoughts as days go by. Hence, there’s a familiar blog voice from him in his blog which can only be produced by his fingers typing on his keyboard.
Consistent Blog Frequency
Reading a blog is like reading a magazine. If this magazine is published once every month, we will expect to see something from this magazine once every month without doubt. But when this magazine is delayed to be published only in two months’ time, many readers will be displeased. Or if the magazine has special mid-month release, the readers will be very excited about it. It goes the same to blog as we publish our posts on a certain frequency that we set. Terry has set to release his post in every two to four days. It sets the pace for all of us as readers to come back for more in every three days in average. That sounds logical because he has to take care of his Internet business and his clients as a whole too. And having to see a famous Internet marketer to blog frequently, I wouldn’t mind to wait for his next post in every few days. Furthermore, he keeps on luring his readers to wait for his next post as he didn’t reveal them all when he mentioned “21 Ideas For Hot Press Releases”.
Clean, Neat Blog All About Terry And His Websites
As an Internet marketer, I expected his blog to be filled with advertisements as he might be able to leverage some of his earnings on his blog. But I realize that he only puts all his websites in his blog to click on. I remember learning from one writer that advertisement can only give your visitors away to the advertisers. So if you focus on putting your products instead of advertisement, that leaves your visitors nowhere to go but to click on your product link. Or if he really wants to leave your website, the only way is to key in new URL manually. Hence, this blog allows all of us to focus mainly on him and his websites. The traffic flow into his website is pretty clear where to go as the contents are all related to Terry Dean.
After all, I believe Terry Dean has been doing very well as an Internet business coach. It is no doubt that his contents are of link-baiting quality. I just wonder when he will start to sell private advertisement spaces in his blog. It’s probably just a matter of time since his blog might be attracting a lot of targeted traffic from everywhere. Most of his post titles would entice interested readers to keep on reading for more. Just take a look at some of the post titles such as “7 Practical Ways to Earn More By Working Less“, “How to Get a Copywriting Education for Under $100” and “10 Ways to Generate Website Traffic for Beginners“. Now, you understand what I mean?
