The Shirt Versus The Suit
On August 26 my database crashed leaving my blog with a big “Not Found” on the post area. I was with my friend’s house on that same day though having a sleepover so I wasn’t able to fix it till I got home the next day. The problem was solved in just a couple of minutes with the help of my web host, Media Temple.
In other words, this post is 5 days late and I’m 5 days late to start kickin’ off my blog for the…

Basically, me and Alvin Phang will compete for the next 25 days on who can gain more RSS subscribers. Time frame is August 25 – September 25.
Here are our RSS subscribers on the day the contest…
CarlOcab – 2928 Subscribers
GatherSuccess – 812 Subscribers
And at the moment, I’m at 3865 Subscribers and Alvin is on 1062. Looks like I’m leading the competition even if I was idle :-P But there’s a long way to go, we still got 25 days to pump up things.
What will the winner get?
Both of us are doing this just for fun so we decided that the one that gained the less amount of subscribers will make a video admitting his defeat. Ahhhh, that’s priceless ;-)
Anyhow, on a different perspective, both of us will win because we gained more subscribers than we normally do due to this RSS challenge.
My plans…
So what are my plans to leave Alvin and win this contest decisively? It’s drop-dead simple. I won’t say it, you’ll see it – actions speak louder than words. Subscribe now so you won’t miss out.

That’s why I find it is weird when Alvin has announced it 5 days ago and you don’t even put it in your featured post. LOL, seems you don’t view your blog for 5 days too Carl.

Hi Carl,
I’m glad your blog came back to life. That was a rather untimely overnight session you got there. But You can see the power of leverage and how it helps you every single day.
Sounds like a fun competition.. But whatever it is about, just be gentle to Alvin. Fight fairly.

Carl, you will win I just know it. What the heck you gained like 1000 readers? What are you bribing people?

Bleh, so how’s it going Carl? I’m pretty sure you’ll win by a landslide, since majority of people prefer a pregnant man over enviornmental issues, it always seems that the newest thing always wins. Shirt vs. Suit? No contest.
Outside, how many people do you see with suits? None I’m betting. In everyday life, the suit is known as dull, and boring. Of course it makes you look important, but what else? It sure doesn’t make it look like you’re out to have fun, unlike that man in a regular T-shirt, out to just have fun.
Anyways, I’ll stand at a neutral state for this competition, and I don’t want to add another RSS feed to my browser. :P
