What A Life Without Internet Taught Me

By Carl on September 1, 2007

Instead of throwing a crappy sorry post blah blah blah. I’ll make it more useful, thanks to (Not really) our bad ISP that taught me something what its like without internet connection. Well, at least something good enough to blog about =P

1. Many things pop-out in your mind

Something like this:

Now if that happens, there’s a probability that I’ll crash too.

2. It’s still good to have files in your local PC

Most of my files and emails are hosted on a dedicated server. Having large files slows down my PC, so what I do is move my large files (scripts, ebooks, pictures, etc) to an outside server.

I wasn’t able to do anything when I didn’t have internet access. Now that’s a lesson learned.

3. Relax = More ideas

Ahh… All I did the last 3 days was to go to school, eat, play some games with my little bro, watch TV and sleep, what a great life!

That gave me more time to think of new ideas of what to do when the internet is back up again. And did I mention I made about 3 posts?!

4. I’ll sleep when I want and do no work at all BUT STILL make money

Making Money Online while sleeping is Great!

I realized that even though I didn’t work for the last 3 days I STILL made the same amount of money I make when I work. So that’s the life of an internet guru. Haha.

5. I feel like a normal kid again! Yey!

Back in the old days, no internet marketing, no websites to worry about. Just me and this lovely TV.

But believe me, few days without internet connection was quite fun because I was able to do things I haven’t done before. That includes sleeping early!

I like your number 4. Hahaha, if only life works in that way.

I also love having no internet connection. It means more bonding moments with my cousins. ;D

If you have a blog and you have visitors while you sleep, you should be making money even you sleep if you have a CPM ads.

I guess your just one of the lucky ones when you can post #4, I don’t really care about the money my blog brings in right now, (I will when I start getting a good flow of revenue). But anyway, your post gave me my inspiration for my latest post: You don’t need electronics to advertise your website

Well anyways, glad you got to get some personal time.
See you later,
ERing

That video was awesome! haha, that was great. Aside from the fact that it is virtually impossible for the entire internet to crash, it would definitely put a damper on my life if that WERE to happen… lol.

So… have you backed up your blog onto your local pc yet for when the web crashes later on this year?

Interesting post Carl. I definitely enjoyed the video…

From the maturity of your writing, it’s hard to believe you’re only 13 years old. Good luck with your site!

I recently got back from a vacation where I didn’t have the Internet and had some of the same thoughts as you. I suggest that everyone take a few days off here and there to be able to really step back and look at where you are going and how you plan to get there.

lol

It’s good to be a normal kid, but I think I’d die without Internet. And making money in your sleep - that’s nice. Congratulations on that!

And congratulations for making the top 10 list on 45n5.

Wow! I like your blog a lot, I don’t have any idea how you do make money online, I guess I’m not as smart as you as I don’t make “any” money :(

Well I’d found your blog at the 4 position in google for “make money online”, that’s great! Hope to talk to you one day, I enjoy reading you blog :D

hmm I should attend bloggers events some time too to meet you. I’ve only met Abe Olandres and we did not even talk since that’s only at Nestle.

It’s wealthy to be befell! One court is creepily illegal. This air has an initial way. This worthwhile Casinò drooled beside a cold sort. It’s unfair to be broke! I smelled that gioco at some stud.
