World’s Youngest Bloggers
It’s funny that our ISP got a hiccup exactly on Christmas day.
So I had to go to a nearby coffee shop just to launch this on time…
http://www.youngestblogger.com
Since it’s Christmas, I wanted to launch something unique that will help other bloggers, young bloggers like me.
It basically ranks bloggers under 18 using 4 ranking factors which is their age (younger the better), Google PR, Technorati and Alexa rank – plus it updates automagically everyday!
Formula
For those curious cats, here’s the formula of how the blogs are ranked…
Age: 20%
Google PR: 25%
Technorati: 30%
Alexa: 25%
Review and vote
Now this is where it gets pretty. We’ve added a spiffy, review and vote function wherein you can review the blog and rate it from 1 to 5 to help the blogger improve and go a long way.
No “This blog sucks.” reviews there, the main goal is to improve the young bloggers so we review each comment thoroughly.
Still Not There Yet
We are on the 20’s mark – it’s still a long way to complete the goal of top 100 list so I need your help on this one, click here if you are below 18 and blogging. If you’re not, then add someone you know that is under 18 and blogging.
Check it out here…

Carl Ocab is one of the most successful teenage bloggers on the net. But remarkably, Carl was just 13 years old when he rose to fame with his hugely popular “make money online” website: www.carlocab.com

Hi, my name is Carl Ocab or as many call me, the “Kidblogger”. I’m a 16-year old kid from the beautiful archipelago Philippines.

Great idea!

This is a great job, Carl. I am so glad that you are unselfishly helping your fellow kid bloggers. You truly are a pride of the Filipinos.
By the way, Meghna of Delve into the Mind of a Budding Blogger has been my online follower and friend as well since last year on my parenting blog. I can say that she is truly an amazing blogger, writer, and poet. I watched her blog grow, and her passion for blogging. I just made a review for her and gave her a 5 star. I assume that 5 is the highest though.
Anyway, rest assured that I am one of those who will support you with your good cause.
Thanks and keep it up!

Hmmm I don’t know really but if you look at the name “Youngest Blogger” there’s a very very dark and narrow chance :-P

Yeah, I also love if you will have a blog for the 20s bracket. I’m sure you will have a long list of bloggers.

Not at the moment. We’ll still decide if we’ll accept bloggers older than 18.

So my chance is pretty slim, eh? Wait a minute, you don’t make an exception, do you? I kid….I kid…. that list is awesome, Carl. I wish I was still 17+…… just like you.

Carl, what a brilliant idea you came up with.
But,
It seems there’s a controversy about this “idea”, Carl.
Looks like your digg page is full with people who claims that this idea belongs to Michael Dunlop (Retireat21.com).
Well, I’m not siding with both of you. But I do wish you young guns can solve this matter before it turns into a huge snowball.
