Back to your analogy, a good personality is great but if the girl is ugly she wont get her foot in the door. Ofcourse anyone who is using Wordpress has no excuse, with the thousands of themes out there that are easy to install and look fine, you can be up and running with a "pretty face" in barely any time at all. You hit the right spot man. I spent 1 week so far getting my top header designed on photoshop and i still havent gotten it how i want it to be. I learned webdesign on my own here and there, Guess what im doing now? Got my logo, installing a forum, then i will start adding a lil bit of everything on there, my portfolio, games, videos, blog, who knows what else, i just want money, Thanx man. Both is relative to each other. Because to be able to get visitor for a particular site your design must be catchy. Content on the other hand would make them come back to your site.
