Recently, I had a chat with my friend who is a full time blogger and blogs on about 5-10 blogs everyday. Even though he told me that he earns $x,xxx monthly with his blogs, I still have a doubt that it wasn’t a good idea.
Why? Simple answer – “stress”, Having 10 blogs is no joke, it’s just like having 10 children that needs to be fed, loved and give some special attention to each. Of course, with all those problems, a parent needs some help. A baby sitter for example or a “nanny”.
Your attention for each blog will be divided. This means your posts quality will decrease also and even your blog’s performance.
This kept me thinking, why do I STILL see thousands of bloggers write for their own blog network everyday. In fact, if you hire bloggers, you can even grow big and be like weblogs inc. or something like that.
So why? Is it because you love blogging? Is it because you lack funds? Is it because you trust yourself more? Is it because you’re a one man band? Why?
I want to ask this person who I know blogs on more than 15+ blogs everyday. What do you think Sir Darren?
Great question
Actually I only write on two blogs per day. I retired quite a few of my blogs and hired an author for two others.
these days i spend more time training and equipping bloggers on the blog network that I cofounded – b5media.
Thanks for answering the question Darren.
So I guess I should update my dictionary of you.
I’m guessing the second blog is on livingroom.org.au right? ;)
10+ blogs?! geezz, i though my 3 blogs are a truck load!… anyway those blogs are filled with junk anyway (garbage truck?).. so very easy to update.. :-)
Nahhh, don’t say your blog is filled with junk. Imagine your blog as your house. Be proud of it :)
I am only focussing on one at the moment, and I am doing it because I enjoy it.
