I still remember the first time I was online. I felt like a total beginner. Guess what, I was. Nothing wrong in admitting this, is it? Well, some people feel they sound like an idiot if they do admit they know nothing about marketing and online business in general. The thing is we have all been there at one stage in our lives.
In fact, be proud to stand out from the crowd! Brand yourself as being different. Those that dare are normally those that get noticed. Just think YouTube. Or even MySpace. Those that differ on those social networking sites are the ones who get noticed the most.
What happens to them? Have another look; it is the uniqueness of people’s actions that will drive tons of visitors to their videos/sites. I’m sure that we could all benefit with some more traffic. I know I do – that’s why I guest blog right here on Carl Ocab.
Carl has managed to do what the top Internet marketers have recognized years ago. He is branding himself not only with his name, but also with a unique attempt to wow the Internet marketing world. A 13 year old making money online – cool – unheard off. So what do we do? We get sucked right in to see what this guy has over us.
In fact, nothing. He is (just) (not meant in a negative way at all) a very young guy with a very clever mind. Carl has used the combination of branding his name with a unique selling point to fast track his business venture. It’s not that he doesn’t offer us a great amount of advice and knowledge for a very young person. But Carl is a master at being different. He will go a very long way and I take my hat off to him. (Oh well – I don’t really wear a hat) ;-)
So what can be learned from this little blurb? I wish that when I first came online to do business that I had the bravery to brand myself as Carl did. I would be a lot further ahead than I’m now. Branding is an important part in becoming a successful business. The combination of branding with smart marketing is what counts in creating an online empire.
Let us know what you feel about branding and clever ideas. Do you believe it helps?
