Did you know that almost 90% of AdSense accounts don’t make $5 monthly? Did you know that almost 80% of people give up because they aren’t making enough?Let’s have a trackback here and think what you did yesterday to make money online. List it all in a paper or maybe notepad and think. If you see more than 10 things, congratulate yourself because you’re making or will be making REAL money online, but if your list appears to be blank. You have a problem to solve.
It’s easy to say that “I will do this, I will do that” But honestly, it’s hard to do. I myself confess that I have temptations to surf the net. Specially using my stumbleupon toolbar.
So, how about this? What if you make a checklist and sign a contract with yourself and do all of it, Yes! No excuses. It doesn’t have to be very long but make sure you set the right goals for the day and do your best to complete it. I’ve tried this many times and I always succeed, so c’mon! Make a list of what you should do for this day and remember to always trackback so you can monitor yourself if you’re making money or not!
I personally have a list of things that I do every single day to market my site. This list includes updating the site itself (kind of like blogging), building links, writing articles, monitoring ad performance. In addition to the daily list I also have a weekly list that I pull out once the dailies are done and chip away at. These are more long term ideas – new niches, keyword research, writing an eBook. I truly believe that every thing I do, no matter how small, helps to increase my presence and profitability. Try it yourself for 3 months and see what a diference it makes.
It’s definitely a great suggestion to write a list of your activities that you’re doing to make more money online, it’s a tough thing to do but if you’re serious about making money online then you have to take this sort of advice very seriously because IT WORKS!
Keep em coming Carlo!
I find it’snot tough to make the list, but tough to complete it. I think I need to work on picking reasonable tasks with reasonable timing. I regularly bite off more than I can chew. Getting better, but I still take on too much at a time.
Great system and attitude toward building your web presence! The difficulty, as others have pointed out, is in being able to stick to it. If you are able to stick to it, then more power to you. Trying to keep up with what goes on online can be daunting. Especially if you’re the only one doing the work. The amount of new material hitting the web on any given day is tremendous. And we’re all looking for any little extra advantage we can get. You can end up spending half a day just tracking down leads to information! Yikes! When can I get any work done?
Actually being able to get something accomplished each day to built your business is a real accomplishment. More of us need to heed that advice!
I try the list thing every week. I found that every day I wasn’t able to complete it and it would just roll over into the next day. Weekly worked better and I am at about 85% completion rate.
I dont able to understand the total concept of MAKING MONEY ONLINE ?
HOW ?
plese some one let me know
I’ve only been in the making money online business for a few months and I have a fairly new blog so I dream of ideas and wake up in the middle of the night to write them down. I want to make my blog an honest one.. I’m steering away from promoting clickbank products most of them are scams bad quality sites.
I have all kinds of lists and try to keep up with them, but too many ideas and too many lists! Need to organize myself. I think if you need a clear mind, you need a clean office space, so you need to select a space for your work-space and keep it neat, then you can start ticking away things on your list(s).
I think this article is spot on! Making Money Online is all about patience and knowing when to tweak certain aspects of your campaign. Just set new blog http://money-makingtruth.blogspot.com/ with lots of useful info to enhance all areas of your life.
Excellent Site!
that’s a good way to look back and see if you are making any progress. can’t agree more.
Not sure exactly about how this checklist thing works, but surely a checklist is one step in the right direction.
If you are having problems with a checklist then maybe you can do better with a graphical like mind-maps.
I’m still not making enough money with my blog, I hop I will just get it right.
This is a great tip and something I am planning on doing. The only thing I am actually doing at the moment is checking out my EntreCard inbox each day and making sure I visit each of the sites that have appeared there and those who wish to advertise.
I’ll let you know what my experiences doing this have been like with a post in my blog at the weekend, I’ll make sure I link back here in the process.

Very good point!
I have a list of things I do everyday and I complete it almost 95% of the time. Having a list and checking it off as you move on will ensure your on the right path to success. Also as someone mentioned here in comment FunSurveys everything you do online increases your presence and profitability. So true.
I find people quit to easy when it comes to internet marketing and making money online. If they just continue to doing the proper things everyday they will see their traffic increase and the amount of money they make. Thats the thing with Adsense, the more traffic will bring you more earnings. Make a list and complete it and keep on going and you will start to increase your earnings.
Sincerely,
Jamie Boyle
Greeting Carlo
Just found your website today.. it’s great :)
I also agree with Carlo here. write your goals, write your to do, write your idea.
personally i use excel file. and i make one sheet for each of my : idea, todo today, target weekly, etc.
I synchronize this file between my pda and my computer.
also.. make a column: Priority.. do the highest priority each day.
If we don’t write.. we tend to forget..then we do nothing to achieve it.
if we just put it in our mind, than we clutter our mind..
if we put it in writing, we help to clear our mind, so we can see things more clearly.
writing is the most overlook technique, and yet..it is powerful.
Best regards

Great advice!
The internet is full of roads leading to non productive activities that do nothing for the bottom line. Making a list is a great way to stay on track. The end of each day is a good time to plan the next days activities while the needs are still fresh in your mind.

I just wrote a post about this exact point. Most people see that dip coming and they bail out as soon as possible. I think it’s the survival instinct. People need to learn that it doesn’t apply here.
Hi there,
Cool post, and is actually exactly what I did a few days ago, writing down a strategy to get my new blog working, taking a 30 day posting challenge and besides that, outlining a daily strategy that for once I am finally sticking too. The biggest danger for me is actually drifting off on surfer mode, reading way too many blogs and website without doing anything productive…. but, still working on that part!
Thanks again for your post!
great posts guys..
I think a list is probably the best way to make sure you’re staying on track with what you need to do. I’ve found that it’s very easy to forget something–especially if you’re doing 100 things a day AND writing the content for your blog. It helps to be a decent writer, obviously, but there are so many other tactical elements to getting your blog to rank high that go above and beyond just having content, as many of you have pointed out. A checklist that you go through every day is a good way to ensure you’re not only doing what’s on the checklist, but adding marketing tactics to improve your visibility.

Ok..this points out a few things that I have been doing wrong. I need to tell family, friends and anyone in the house that this is “My Time” and that I need to complete certain tasks between certain hours of the week. Of course, I need to allow “free time”. But, I need to have it where I can actually complete the tasks. So..If I do sign a contract with myself (like you suggest) and let my phone calls go to voice mail, sign out of my instant messagers, and cut myself off for a few hours…I might be able to finish my tasks.
