I am just so excited that my first thought was “Carl’s readers will want to know about this!”
Well, to be honest, it was about my second or third thought. My other readers and subscribers also featured in there!
Here’s the beginning of my blog post about it:
Wow!
I just got off the phone with Justin Brooke! (I know what that sounds like – don’t you see something like that at the top of every salesy email that ends up with an affiliate link to yet another “pay money to make money” offer?)
This isn’t one of those.
Justin is one of the big players in the internet marketing game, he’s in with some of the big super-affiliates, and he’s in the middle of a major launch of his own new product (and if you don’t know what all that means, I’ll simply say he’s got better things to do with his time than be on the phone to me right now!)
Justin teaches people how to sell their web sites for big money, just like 15-year-old Josh Buckley did.
Anyway, I tried to tune in to a webinar Justin ran yesterday, and couldn’t get the sound working – very annoying – You Tube works fine. Even my tech guru was baffled. I sent an email to Justin, and despite my email having a somewhat peevish tone, Justin graciously invited me to call him so he could answer any questions I had in person.
I was stunned. This simply does not happen in the internet marketing world. More …
You can read the whole thing, but in summary, Justin made this incredible offer, just out of the blue, just for people associated with Raising Entrepreneurs – which could be you, since you are reading this.
Use his information to sell a website for $500 or more, write a case study, and he will give you 12 months access to his brand new Site Flip Academy web site – access to the cutting edge information on how to grow traffic, build lists, and create sites that will sell for tens of thousands of dollars.
Now, I don’t have an affiliate link in here or anything, and I’m not saying run out and join because I will make money if you do, I’m saying you can SELL A WEBSITE and win a membership! All you have to do is write up a case study on how you did it.
Justin has even generously said he will give one membership each month for a few months, so that even if you haven’t got a website started yet, you still have a shot at it.
You need to submit your case study on my template, available from www.raisingentreprenurs.org/contact.php – just ask for it and Carolyn will email it out to you.
Oh, and I’ve added another prize – you’ll also get 12 months membership to Cash-Smart Kids! I’m not going to brag on my own site here – go look if you’re curious. It’s not a sales letter.
Justin is going to do a guest post on the Raising Entrepreneurs blog in a few days, but if you want to get started immediately, you can go and do some research on Justin’s blogs at www.siteflipking.com and www.websitenegotiator.com. There are also free videos on the sales page for Site Flip Academy, just bear in mind it is a sales page. I’m not sending you there as a trick to get you to buy something – Justin is really genuine and a great guy, and you can watch the videos without paying a cent.
So, there you have it! Get your web site up and running, build a subscriber list, and add some revenue sources – you stand to gain two valuable memberships which will give you the information you (and your parents/kids) need to be set up for life.
Don’t have a web site yet? Not sure how to get started? Register for our free Get Started! email course and we’ll give you an eBook and email you step-by-step instructions.
Good luck!
Jenny
P.S. Oh, and if you’re wondering about the “award-winning” that has just appeared in my bio, Cash-Smart Kids has just been awarded 2007’s “Web Site Most Likely To Change The World”. Cool, huh? I hope it does …

What informations could be needed for buying and selling a website? I mean, the art sits actually in buying a website rather than selling a website.
To sell a website metrics are simple and clean, month revenue, domain name value (brandable or not, old or not, with or without pagerank), traffic (organic or referral, if referral how much advertising costs per month) just some simple math and there goes the price.
The trick sits in the buyer, comparing THOSE given statistics, to digg in the site and find a hole that the previous owner wasn’t using to monetize the site or increase traffic or whatsoever and than calculate the returning investment in what term of period would be made.
Now, if even for doing math I need a guide, than somebody tell me to go back to school please.
It is simply not as easy as it seems…

It seems like a lot blogs with a few hundred subscribers are being sold for sums that high.
yeah, it is more complicated than what you think…
Yeah definitely more complicated than you think…
More complicated than WHO what thinks?
Great guest article Jenny.
