“Give It Away and Get Rich” Yes, It Still Exists!

By Carl on September 24, 2007

This post is part of the “This Is Quick” case study:

Part 1: Why Capturing emails matter
Part 2: Give It Away And Get Rich
Part 3: The Power Of Words And Colors

More to come!

Before I begin this article, here’s something to look at:

Winzip, limewire, pdf reader, video converters and all other softwares all of them are free, but ever wonder why the dudes who made it gave it all away in exchange of nothing?!

No, their not dumb, actually they’re the smart guys. Just think about it again. If you downloaded adobe’s pdf reader will you be able to edit the pdf files? No. how? You buy the whole product.

The scheme is quite simple to understand. You give something away in EXCHANGE of what you need.

About That Picture

When I checked my stats in Text Link Ads this morning, that commission made me laugh, simply because I see how the “Give It Away and Get…

What happens to them? Have another look; it is the uniqueness of people’s actions that will drive tons of visitors to their videos/sites. I’m sure that we could all benefit with some more traffic. I know I do – that’s why I…

By Carl on August 12, 2007

This is a continuation of “What advertisers should know when advertising“?

But are you aware that there are also Private deals, most advertisers are looking for these because there’s no middleman involve so it’s much cheaper. Just imagine Text Link Ads and ReviewMe that eat HALF of the money the advertiser pays you. So they have to push the prices a little higher just to pay the publisher a good sum of money.

That’s why I compiled here a list on what publishers should know or should have when selling advertisements on their websites.

1. Enough Traffic References
