The event was held on Phi Resto Bar, Metro Walk, Ortigas. It was just a small place for awarding almost 300,000 php to SEO’s. Too bad we got the worse seat on the room, because we arrived late due to the harsh traffic.
It was quiet a day; the host and the hostess are Joshua and Jenny. They held some raffle draws but unluckily we didn’t win any of the raffle prices. But it was a fulfilled day because I learned many things about blogging and stuff by listening on those SEO’s who were talking beside me.
Many of the contest winners were disqualified for not following the directions. They should put a certain code for them to be able to qualify as a contestant. Many of them weren’t able to put these codes and were disqualified. I think about half of them were disqualified because of not following directions.
The one that I was really interested to was when a person named Benj was disqualified for using Black Hat techniques. He hacked the dreamhost server and used it’s backlinks to transfer it to his’, but unluckily he failed because Yahoo didn’t update.
After that was a long talk to bloggers and SEO’s and the rest they is history.
