Whew! Just got back from the beach to celebrate my 16th birthday – Buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner (priceless!), triyaking, snorkeling and sun burn, all fun!

Kinda funny though because me and my cousin lost the snorkels when we fell off the triyak so we had to pay $50, GASP! Still fun though :-)

I don’t believe entrepreneur runs in the blood, to me everyone is born to be entrepreneur, the problem is the mind set of what a human gone through while his or her is growing up, who would believe John Chow’s history when he was a small boy, and who would believe a 13 year old kid like you can earn more then most adults, is all mind set, and the growing up of seeing, experiencing and the curiosity of human that changes in time.

Nothing beats the mind set, if you think life is boring you will always be boring, is just like if you think you need to go to the toilet, even if there is no toilet, you will sure to find somewhere to pee, is all the thinking, is all about the mind, not the blood…

Because i love sports and still do but about two years ago i played football everyday , but then one I saw the words Business , Money and Entrepreneur in a book which luanched me to my very own adventure..

Maybe everyone has it ,just have to triger it but really most people just want average jobs . But the special people like you Carlo who Drill For more and Work hard for success are the Special people who Reach Riches and Greatness in their own way !! …

Like StarTrek Said > Live long and Prosperous.

Yes, entrepreneurship runs in the blood. Though one can learn certain techniques, true entrepreneurship is a matter of character. The best businessmen are born that way and present appropriate skills already at a very young age (when they are still kids).
And remember, statistics say that only 1-2% of people can run a succesful (growing) company.

I have it, my daughter has it and my parents don’t, but my grandpa did. I am a lot like my grandpa. I think it does, but it does from time to time skip a generation, just like physical attributes can.

Entrepreneurship depends on hardworks, knowledge, and our attitude. I think nothing we can do about “Entrepreneurship Runs in the Blood”, I just try to maximize my skill and my talent to be an entrepreneur.

As a student of psychology I would have to say that entrepreneurship is deeply wired into the human psyche. However, as a society we have evolved methods of socialization that kill the human drive to be curious, experiment and adapt both ourselves and our environment to maximize success. It’s in there, but we need to believe in it, believe in ourselves and our innate abilities.

i think it is both…blood and learned either because of circumstances or because sheer personal choice and volition.

I’m not sure whether it runs in the blood or whether the blood runs in it. As far back as I can remember I was selling something. Anything from fresh pumpkins, frozen dessert, Indian spices to information products.

I think the satisfaction lies within the fact that you tried an idea you had and it work. It’s something only an entrepreneur will understand. Nothing beats a good idea that works out brilliantly.

To me the challenge of making my ideas work is even more exciting than actually making the money from it.

Happy birthday. I think if you are from a family that is outgoing and deals with situations an entreprenuer would you learn and pick up the tallent at a young age, this makes you understand the environment and realise that you to could be successful and make money Survey have shown that people with semi successful parents strive for the same lifestyle their parents have

Does Entrepreneurship Runs In The Blood?

I really don’t know. Both my mom and dad are not into any business. My mom is a social worker and my dad in a farmer. I am not exposed to any business when I was young. But at an early age, I have think of ways to earn for a living.

When I was in high school, I put up a small business. I was into tshirt printing and other printing jobs. I also ventured into that business when I was in college. But I haven’t really concentrated on it.

Right now, I am thinking on what business to invest in.

Awesome stuff everyone! I’ll keep you updated – got a bit late with that 69 ways to build backlinks post because of an ISP problem that took me away online for at least 4 days.

    Hey Carl

I dont think entrepreneurship runs in the blood, I think it is something that very early on you develop a liking for. Like when I was born I dont think I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur however for as long as I can remember I always said I would be a millionaire.

I think you develop a taste for success at some point in your life, its how much you want it that determines where you end up.

    Happy B’day bro

I believe it runs in the blood but some people will become successful despite their parents or family influences. There’s really no way to say how a successful person will come into being.

I think being a business owner can be a genetic trait so to speak, but then again, I think plenty aspects of it can be learned, or nurtured with the right mentors.

I know I am very late to this party, but I’m going to be writing and article or two on this subject and I was just here ‘researching’. To me, Bad Blogger said it all in the very first comment: “I don’t believe entrepreneur runs in the blood, to me everyone is born to be entrepreneur, the problem is the mind set of what a human gone through while his or her is growing up”.

As a foreigner living here in the Philippines I get questions and comments all the time that are ‘blood’ and/or national oriented related. Filipino freinds and sometimes even family often make comments that all kind of sound like, “Well of course, an American can do that, if only a Filipino could.”

As Henry Ford once said, “If you beleive you can, or if you beleive you can’t, you are right.” Blood has nothing to do with it.
